PDP grieved on the demise of Mufti Shariefudin

GNS Srinagar, May 06 :  Peoples Democratic party (PDP) expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Mufti Shariefudin Son of Mufti Mohammed Abdullah, the nephew of PDP patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed who breathed his last yesterday night at Jammu and was laid to rest today afternoon at his ancestral graveyard at Babamohalla Bijbehara. The Fatehkhawani of the late soul will be held on Monday 7 th  May 2012. PDP leaders today visited the residence of Mufti’s at Bijbehara to participate in the Nimazi-Jinazah of the late Mufti and express their condolences with the bereaved family. Empower elected Sarpanches and Panches immediately: Vakil to Omar Fruit industry backbone of our economy needs special attention

                                         GNS Rafiabad May  06 : Former minister and member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil has stressed upon the chief minister Omar Abdullah to immediately empower elected Sarpanches and Panches failing which real purpose of holding elections to Panchayats in Jammu and Kashmir will become ineffective. He said that if Sarpanches and Panches are not empowered, they will get exploited by those elements who had all along been trying to create an uncertainty in the state and defame government for their vested interests. Govt. sends 16 highly qualified Doctors to Saudi, under Overseas employment plan
