GNS JMU ;Prof. Saifuddin Soz MP (Former Union Minister) & President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee called on Pranab Mukherjee Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance late last night and discussed many subjects of mutual interest with Shri. Mukherjee. Among the subjects pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir State, the recent election to the Panchayats in Jammu and Kashmir State and its aftermath came up for discussion. PHOTO GNS GNS RAJOURI NOV 2: नए बस अड्डे पर बुधवार को तारकोल बिछाने गए नगरपरिषद के कर्मचारियों व अधिकारियों को भूमि मालिकों के विरोध का सामना करना पड़ा। भूमि मालिकों ने जमीन का मुआवजा कम देने का आरोप लगाकर मंत्री व नगरपरिषद के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया। विरोध देखकर नगरपरिषद अधिकारी मौके से भाग गए। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही जिला आयुक्त मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्होंने लोगों को शांत कराया। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। सलानी पुल के पास बने नए बस अड्डे पर बुधवार को तारकोल बिछाया जाना था, जिसका उद्घाटन स्थानीय विधायक व बिजली राज्यमंत्री शब्बीर अहमद खान के हाथों से होना था। इस संबंध में जब स्थानीय लोगों को सूचना मिली तो जमीन मालिक मौके पर पहुंच गए। उन्होंने भूमि का कम मुआवजा देने का आरोप लगाकर तारकोल डालने का विरोध शुरू कर दिया। उनका कहना था कि उन्हें बस अड्डे पर दुकानें देने का वादा किया गया था, लेकिन अभी तक वादा पूरा नहीं किया गया। जमीन मालिक बद्रीनाथ, रशीद अहमद व एजाज अहमद ने बताया कि 2003 में जिला आयुक्त एमके द्विवेदी ने वादा किया था कि जमीन देने वालों को 37 दुकानें बस अड्डे पर दी जाएगी, लेक...

सरकार के खिलाफ सड़कों पर उतरे ठेकेदार GNS Rajouri : Wednesday, November 02, 2011 राजोरी। राज्य सरकार द्वारा सेल तथा सर्विस टैक्स में इजाफा किए जाने के फैसले के खिलाफ मंगलवार को जिले के सैकड़ों ठेकेदारों ने एक रोष रैली निकाली तथा सरकार के खिलाफ नारेबाजी कर रोष का इजहार किया। इस अवसर पर ठेकेदारों ने कहा कि अगर सरकार ने टैक्स में कटौती नहीं की तो ठेकेदार अपना आंदोलन और तेज करेंगे तथा सचिवालय का घेराव करने से भी पीछे नहीं हटेंगे। वहीं, बाद में ठेकदारों ने अतिरिक्त जिला उपायुक्त को एक ज्ञापन भी सौंपा, जिसमें सरकार से अतिशीघ्र टैक्स में कटौती किए जाने की मांग की गई थी। नगर में स्थित सरकारी गेस्ट हाउस में यूनियन के सदस्य शफकत वानी की अध्यक्षता में एकत्र हुए ठेकेदारों ने जिला सचिवालय तक रोष रैली निकाली तथा सरकार के खिलाफ जोरदार नारेबाजी की। जिला सचिवालय परिसर में यूनियन सदस्य शफकत वाणी ने कहा कि रियासत के विकास में ठेकेदारों की भी अहम भूमिका है, लेकिन अब राज्य सरकार ठेकेदारों को परेशान करने के लिए बेवजह के टैक्स लगा कर निम्न स्तर के ठेकेदारों से रोजी-रोटी छीनने का प्रयास कर रही जिसे किसी भी ...
