SRINAGAR, JULY 31 – Reiterating his directions for restoration of Peer Dastigeer(RA)  Shrine at Khanyar here, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today stressed on launch of immediate construction work soon tenders floated for the purpose are opened in the last week of August.  Chairing the 16th meeting of Board of Directors of J&K Muslim Waqaf Board here today, the Chief Minister said that a well defined bar chart should be maintained for completing the construction in its original heritage structure and design. Matters relating to expansion, internal designing of the shrine in consonance with the original heritage characteristic were also discussed in detail in the meeting. GNS Srinagar, July 31: Taking a strong exception to the mysterious death of Aaqib Ahmad Bhat a water tanker driver, Abdul Razaq Zawoora Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and MLA Shopian has demanded a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
