Mehbooba assures to vociferously take up peoples’ problems PDP reaches out to urban areas to assess problems being faced by residents of towns
GNS SRINAGAR , JUNE 7: To assess the problems being faced by the residents of different towns, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reached out to the urban areas of the state. PDP president Mehooba Mufti visited many towns of South Kashmir and interacted with large number of the people and had the ground assessment of the hardships being faced by the people due to lack of basic civic amenities in these areas. While interacted with PDP chief at Pampore, people complained said that there is a LPG filling station in Pampore but the people of the town lacks the facility of a gas counter which could fulfill the needs of the town. Furthermore people also complained about prevailing mess due to traffic congestion resulting into lot of problems to the shopkeepers. They also complained regarding the damages caused to the production of world famous Saffron due to high tension wires which pass through the Saffron fields.
