PDP workers meeting held

GNS ,Jammu, the 23rd September, 2011: A meeting of PDP workers was held at Katyal (R.S.Pura) under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Shanti Devi, President, PDP Mahila Wing, who was accompanied by Anita Devi, District President, PDP, Mahila Wing, Samba, Nirmal Kaur, Rajinder Kaur, Surinder Kaur, Kamal Sharma, Maheshwar, Dhian Singh etc. In the meeting on the pursuation of Asha Devi and Balwant Kaur and convinced by the policies and programmes of PDP more than three hundred ladies and gents of the area joined PDP. At the time of joining Asha Devi and Balwant Kaur said the people of the area have felt that the PDP is the only Party in the State who can solve the problems of the people of the rural areas and farmers. While welcoming in the Party-fold Mrs. Shanti Devi assured them that PDP will try its utmost to get resolved the problems of the people of the State. He also assured that they come to her at any time for any problem and she will leave no stone unturned to get solved their problems from different Departments. She also said that they should whole heartedly support and strengthen the hands of Mtr. Mehbooba Mufti, President PDP as she is the only dynamic and dedicated leader in the State and can upto the expectations of the people of the State. Mrs. Anita Devi said corruption and nepotism is at rampant in the State and present government has failed on all fronts and PDP is the only Party who can take bold steps to eradicate the same.

GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities.
