GNS Jammu Dec: On the initiative of S Tirlok Singh Bajwa a number of prominent persons led by S Raghubir Singh Retd. Principal, S Surjit Singh, S Manhore Singh, S Harjit Singh , S Surjit Singh, S Harvinder Singh & Joginder Singh (Pappu) joined PDP in an impressive function at PDP office, Gandhinagar, Jammu in presence of senior PDP leaders Sh. Ved Mahajan, Fallail Singh, Ashok Jogi, Mohinder Kotwal, Rajinder Manhas, H S Rana, Raj Kumar Lalotra,Vimal Sharma, Mohinder Lal Bhagat and many others. While welcoming them in the Party-fold Ved Mahajan said that PDP is the only Party who can solve the problems of the general masses. While speaking on the occasion T S Bajwa said during the tenure of Jenab Mufti Mohd. Sayed as chief Minister equal development of all the three regions was taken and no discrimination was made with any region and people problems were solved to the greater extent. GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities. He said the process of transferring the remaining land is in progress. The Minister was replying to question of Mr. Yashpal Kundal in the House. The Minister said that the job of land survey and contour mapping has been assigned to Educational Consultants India Limited (EDCIL) after which master plans will be formulated and the construction work taken up. He said at present both the Central Universities are functional in the rental accommodation. He said MA English and comparative Literature, PG in Applied Mathematics, PG in Economics and M Phil in English courses have been introduced in Jammu University whereas 6 more courses are likely being...
