Police Public meeting held


GNS JAMMU MAY 09 : Police – Public meet was held at Mahatma Atma Ram Samadhi, Bahu- Fort, Jammu under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station.
The meeting was organized by Saryara Biradiri Welfare Committee (SBWC) under the leadership of Jagdev Raj Dalotra, President SBWC.
SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Naresh Sharma and SHO Jhajjar Kotli, Yash Singh Salathia were attended the meeting as special invite.
Dev Raj Khokher, Vice President SBWC welcomed the two officers by presenting bouquet.
Speaking on the occasion SHO, Naresh Sharma who posted in the area few days appreciated the effort of social organization for organizing such a an interactive programmers.
He also asked people to keep a strict watch on the suspicious persons and in case they come across any, the matter should immediately be reported to the police.
He appealed to the people to assist the police to keep Jammu crime free and the security verification of tenants should be ensured.
The localities also ensure their full corporation with police in near future.
Later, SBWC facilitated SHO Jhajjar Kotli Yash Singh Salathia, who had served and SHO Naresh Sharma who recently posted here by presenting memento.
Other who presented in the meeting were Sat Paul Dalaotra, Hur Dutt, Ram Singh, Gur Dev, Dewan Chand, Mohan Lal, Puran Chand and others.

Rejuvenate CICs as information hub: Omar

GNS SRINAGAR, MAY 21 – Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Monday highlighted the need for  rejuvenating Community Information Centres (CICs) to make them hub of Information collection and dissemination. He director for merging their functioning with the established Panchayat Raj System in the state.
