Govt, political parties deceived Panches, Sarpanches, teach them a lesson: Fazal Wani

                                  “Vote for walking stick”




JAMMU: Independent candidates in the upcoming LC elections for J-1 and J-2 seats, (Master\ Retired) Sarpanch Fazal Alam Wani has appealed Panchs and Sarpanchs to vote against the political parties candidates in the elections.



He said that political parties have deceived Panches and Sarpanches and now it is our turn to teach them a lesson.

He said that defeating the political party’s candidates is the motive of Sarpanches and if the government fails to fulfill its promises, such a campaign will be launched during 2014 state legislative elections as well. He said that Congress created drama on the Panchayat empowerment issue while NC is reluctant to empower us adding that issuing the notification for BDC elections was also a part of that drama.
He lamented that government had insulted the Panchayat members in the society and rendered them vulnerable.
