GNS JAMMU FEB,13 :A high level delegation met Rigzin Zora the Cabinet minister Housing Urban Development In the civil secretariat Led by Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement held detailed discussion and apprised him the problems faced by the people of the winter.
Sunil Dimple registered strong protest and expressed the serious concern over the growing out of control traffic problems “due to half heartedly” steps taken by the Govt” for the improvement in the traffic system.
He demanded the minister Zora for the construction of the flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewal chowk, and Vikram Chowk.
He alleged all the traffic signals have been stopped in the Jammu city, due to no clear traffic policy of the Govt the corers of rupees are going waste.
He said the minister that these flyovers project was planed the 8 years earlier but till today the Govt has not spent any single penny except the lip sympathy and took no stepto solve the traffic problem of the city.
Sunil Dimple demanded the minister Rigzin Zora to hold the enquiry by the crime branch and CBI Enquiry of the on going work of the ERA all the engineers staff of the ERA is hand in glove with the Contractors of the Company and the public money is being lavishly used and wasted. He alleged that the on going work of ERA is of the sub standard quality. Its sample needed to be checked in the laboratory.
He demanded to “arrest those culprits” of the ERA, NBCC and the stringent action against all those who are involved in the “sub standard quality work”.
Sunil Dimple demanded Rigzin Zora for the allocation of special financial package for making Jammu a mega city.
He demanded for the development of more tourist spots in the Jammu city, and early completion of the artificial Lake in the river Tawi as a tourist spot.
Dimple Demanded Rigzin Zora for the construction of the construction of multi storied parking at Panjterthi, Swaz Mandi, Supper bazaar shalmar, and at bus stand Jammu and demanded more Parking Spots for the mini bus stops in the Jammu city.
Dimple also demanded The minister for the construction of the damaged lanes drains by the ERA in the west assembly constituency .
Dimple Demanded the Govt. for construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla Manda to High Court Janipur to Roop Nagar, Bantalab to Ease the traffic rush problem on the Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, Bantalab Road to save precious lives of residents of these localities from the road Accidents.
He demanded for starting Metro Rail, Mono Rail and Construction of Circular Roads to solve the traffic problem faced by the people of Jammu City.
Rigzin Zora the Housing urban development minister gave patient hearing to the demands put forward and assured Sunil Dimple that he will soon take up the meeting of the concerned departments for the construction of the flyovers , multi story parking and of the ERA.
Rigzin Zora passed immediate directions to the administration and assured that the directions will be passed to the ERA, JMC, JDA AND PWD to complete the construction of the Roads, lanes, drains damaged due to ERA Sewerage and for the early completion of the work and ERA will be made accountable of the ongoing work.
