GNS REPORT FEB,2013  :Defaulted on payment of electricity bills to the 
Power Development Department (PDD)
Fresh list of consumers who have defaulted 
on payment of electricity bills to the Power 
Development Department (PDD). 
1. Nawa-e-Subah, the headquarters of ruling 
National Conference is Rs 7.80 lakhs. 
2. Hari Niwas Palace owned by senior 
Congress leader and former Sadr-e-Riyasat, 
who owes Rs 83.34 lakhs as power tariff to 
the PDD 
3. M/S Simula Software Solutions & Research 
Centre, Jammu, owned by son of Finance 
Minister Abdul Rahim Rather (Rs 31.91 lakhs), 
4. Irfan Raza Ansari C/O Access, who is the 
son of senior Peoples Democratic Party leader, 
Moulvi Iftikhar Ansari (Rs 9.18 lakhs). 
5. Tramboo Joinery Mills in Kashmir (Rs 93.95 
lakhs), 
6. Airtel, Qamarwari here (Rs 10.43 lakhs), 
7. Tramboo Cement Industries (Rs 1.5 crore), 
8. INFRATEL LTD (Rs 22.28 lakhs), INFRATEL 
LTD (Rs 15.27 lakhs). 
9. The Renuka Food Process in Samba has 
defaulted on the highest payments of over Rs 
10.48 crore. 
10. Army Goodwill School, Lidroo Pahalgam 
(Rs 24.24 lakhs)

GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities.
