GNS Special Report: In a major development, Jammu Kashmir police busted a gang running fake currency business in the state of Jammu and Kashmir for years together . The gang involves the men in Khaki's responsible to curb such things .Giving details , sources said that Rajouri unit of Jammu Kashmir police busted an organized gang of fake currency racketeers operating in the state of Jammu and Kashmir for years to gather . The gang involving mainly policemen was operative in the state from the border region of Rajouri and Poonch and one of the member of the gang was attached with a senior BJP leader as PSO. Sources said , acting on a specific information of fake currency business running in this border district , Rajouri police arrested one person namely Mohammad Altaf son of Mohammad Shakoor from Darhall area of Rajouri district on Tuesday . On being interrogated , police sources said Altaf revealed the name of a police constable identified as Pawan Kumar a member of bomb disposal sqad of Rajouri police . When police took the custody of Pawan Kumar , he revealed the name of an other police man identified as Nater Parkash as their king pin . Nater Parkash was 4P10 posted with senior BJP leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta as PSO. On Thursday afternoon police raided the residence of BJP leader in Rajouri and searched the boxes of his PSO and checked all his belonging . During the searches , police recovered 35 fake notes showing value of 500 each from the box of Nater Kumar . However, Nater managed to escape from the spot and was absconding till the last reports came in . When contacted Senior Superintendent of Rajouri Police Vijay Singh Samyaal told GNS that the matter was under investigation and was at preliminary stage . Samyal said that whale of the story will be shared with the media with in shortest time .However, the inside sources said that the gang was operative in this region for long time and , and it had been operating under the grab of police uniform and using official vehicle allotted to senior BJP leader . It is yet to ascertain that how much amount of fake currency was utilized in militancy related activities in the region .

Sources said that some private consultants are being hired by the Transport Department to do a detailed study of traffic pattern, road use and ways to deal with the jams at peak hours.
