MLA Mendhar highlights problems

GNS MEHNDER : Former Minister and M.L.A Mendhar Sardar RafiqHussain Khan today demanded that compensation should be given to the people whose land has been acquired by authorities for constructing roads.

Addressing series of public meetings at village Narool, Banolla, Ari and Surhoti of Mendhar assembly segment, Khan said that works have been sanctioned under PMGRY but no compensation has been paid to those who land has been acquired by the authorities for these roads.
Khan was accompanied by Sarpanch namely Naseer Choudary , Aftab Tabi,
Mohd Sadiq Qazi, Rashid Choudary. In the meetings it was discussed public grievances of the respective villages and it was demanded the early of PMGSY Schemes roads in Banolla where yet no compensation were to paid to the  wners f the land. He also demanded electrification of the un-electrified left over houses in these villages.
Meanwhile more than 100 workers of National Conference quitted their party and joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at village Banolla. They expressed faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. M.L.A Mendhar directed the concerned authorities onspot  to solve the basic problems of respective village on priority. All Sarpanches  and Panched appealed to the people to participate a large number in protest rally on 21-12-2011 at Mendhar against the State  government led  by the National Conference failed in all fronts. We are bound to taking action against erring CRPF personnel” DC Srinagar GNS Srinagar, March 07 : Coming down heavily on unbridled CRPF personnel for ransacking houses and religious places, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asghar Samoon Thursday appealed people to contact District administration in case CRPF personnel indulge in ransacking houses in any area. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Baseer Ahmed Khan said that he will look into the matter and will try to find out where ransacking has taken place.“Strict action will be taken against the erring CRPF personnel. Ransacked dozens of houses smashed window panes in Srinagar GNS SRINAGAR MARCH  07 :Violent protests erupted in North Kashmir’s frontier district after a CRPF vehicle allegedly crushed two youth.In Srinagar’s Batamaloo area CRPF allegedly ransacked dozens of houses and smashed window panes and doors. People claimed that CRPF personnel even didn’t spare women and ch ildren and beat them to pulp. “CRPF personnel forced their entries into the houses and they even entered into Batamaloo Ziyarat and beat everyone whosoever came in the way,” a local from Batamaloo told on phone.Sister of Muslim League Chairman, Mushtaq-ul-Islam told on phone that their house was targeted by CRPF personnel and all the windowpanes were smashed by unbridled forces personnel. “There was no stone-pelting. Everything was calm. Suddenly we heard sound and saw CRPF personnel throwing marbles through catapult. They broke all the window panes of our house,” she said.
