Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee Hold Meet


GNS JAMMU :A meeting of Mahila Congress Committee was held at PCC HQ. Shaheedi  Chowk, Jammu  today in which the problems of women folk were discussed.
Mrs. Prabha Slathia-President District Mahila Congress Committee Jammu chaired the meeting. S/Smt. Sita Devi-General Secretary, Suman Devi, Koushalya Devi, Nrani Devi, Vishnu Devi, Shashi Devi, Smt. Vijay Chib and Veena Devi were the prominent who spoke in the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting the women leaders expressed their full faith over the policies and programmes of Congress party and its leadership Smt. Sonia Gandhi and PCC President Prof. Saifuddin Soz. 
They said that Congress is the only secular force in Jammu and Kashmir which enjoys support in all three regions of the state and has always taken care of the interests of people of all sections of the society.
The women leaders also stressed for strengthening the Mahila Congress for ensuing Municipal Elections in the state and also the problems to the women folk  shall highlighted in a befitting manner.

Omar’s crusade against corruption

                 DVOs themselves have cases pending against them or under investigation By Sunny Sangral   GNS JAMMU, : At a time when Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is making tall claims of fighting corruption in Jammu and Kashmir through State Vigilance Organisation (SVO), there are several Department Vigilance Officers (DVO)s against whom cases of corruption are pending.  This has been relived by a RTI filed by a activist recently.  As per the reply of the state government, M.
