SaMaPa condoles Abdul Rahim Bhat’s demise.


GNS JAMMU AUG. 24 :SaMaPa (Sopori Academy of Music And Performing Arts), the prestigious music academy, in an emergency meeting here have condoled the sad demise of Abdul Rahim Bhat, the veteran folk musician of J&K.
Chairman of SaMaPa and music legend Pandit Bhajan Sopori termed Bhat’s death a great loss to the folk culture of Kashmir. General Secretary of SaMaPa and music maestro Abhay Rustum Sopori remembered the departed soul as a legendary folk singer who gave a new dimension to the folk singing with his renditions.
 SaMaPa expresses heartfelt condolences with the family and friends of the great musician.
