Ravinder Sharma MLC 2 Days Tour Of Sunderbani n Nowshehra Conclude


GNS Sunderbani,September 01 : Member Legislative Council Mr. Ravinder Sharma-General Secretary & Spokesperson JKPCC conducted two days tour of Nowshera-Sunderbani areas of Rajouri district & addressed series of public meetings and took stock of problems of people.
Addressing the meetings at Nonial, Chowki, Bhawani, Sunderbani, Soit, Chhatta and Mudwal, Mr. Sharma said that Congress party alone can guarantee for the unity and integrity of the state and take the nation to the path of peace and prosperity.
Mr. Sharma lashed out  at the policies of communal and divisive forces to exploit the situation for vested political interests. He cautioned the people against the designs of such political parties and advised them to follow the path of secularism and work to strengthen the unity and integrity of the state and the nation.
Number of prominent persons joined Congress party. They appreciated the policies and programmes of Congress party and the workings of Mr. Ravinder Shrama-MLC. Sarpanch Rattan Singh of Nonial alongwith his supporters joined the Congress party. He highlighted the road connectivity from Nowshera to Chowki-Nonial. Power, water and other related problems were also highlighted in the meeting.
Khalil Choudhary, Bindu Chowdhary, Rajinder Singh, Capt. Suram Singh, Sub. Karam Chand, Mukund Lal, Mahinder Kumar (all Sarpanches of Nowshera), Harbans Lal Bakshi, Isher Singh, Irshad Ahmed also address the meetings.
Mr. Sharma also visited Degree College Sunderbani alongwith SDM. He inspected the expansion work of Dak Banglow Sunderbani.

GNS RAJOURI : The way opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by former JK Chief Minister and erstwhile union home minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayed has been emerging as a force in the border region of Poonch , Rajouri, is really a worrying situation for Congress and National Conference . 6321 kanals of land transferred to CUs for creation of infrastructure: Malik

GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities. He said the process of transferring the remaining land is in progress. The Minister was replying to question of Mr. Yashpal Kundal in the House. The Minister said that the job of land survey and contour mapping has been assigned to Educational Consultants India Limited (EDCIL) after which master plans will be formulated and the construction work taken up. He said at present both the Central Universities are functional in the rental accommodation.
