GNS BARAMULLAH FEB 2 :A leopard attacked and killed an eight year old boy Kamran Ahmad Ganai son of Muhammad Akbar Ganai,the boy scummbed his injuries on spot at Dowlatpora Kreeri, Baramullah .Reports said that the boy was playing with his younger siblings outside his house when he was attacked by a leopard.An eye witness from the area said, “A leopard came from a nearby forests, attacked the kid and then ran away towards the forests.An FIR has been lodged in this regard

Govt. to conduct scientific study of the traffic management in J&K

By Tahir Mushtaq (TNI) GNS JAMMU, : With Management of rising vehicles become a nightmare for the administration in the rapidly growing urban centers of Jammu and Kashmir, government has decided to formulate a comprehensive City Transport Policy for scientific management of the vehicles. Sources said that some private consultants are being hired by the Transport Department to do a detailed study of traffic pattern, road use and ways to deal with the jams at peak hours.
