PDP Protest against government.
GNS. A protest demonstration is held under
the leadership of State Vice President, Rajinder Singh Manhas of Youth
Wing against the State Government and especially the PDD Jammu and
Kashmir for the discrimination with the resident of Karwal which is in
Bishnah area. A Large number of Youth assembled in the office of Chief
Engineer of Power Development Department of Jammu and raised Anti
Govt. and Anti PDD Slogans.
While speaking on the occasion General Secretary Nadeem Khan alleged
that the villagers of Karwal Village are facing electricity problems
all the villgers have permanent connection but in spite of that the
supply of electricity never come to their houses for last seven
months.
Adv. Gurdeep Singh Pandey, State Secretary strongly condemned the
Anti People policies of the Omar’s Govt. He said that the Article-21
of constitution of India clearly indicate that every body has right to
life which include each and every requirement which is essential for
life as electricity is one of the essential commodity of life and the
people of the village Kanwal are deprived from electricity since long.
As this violates the Fundamental Rights and directive principles. Mr
Pandey alleged that despite of making so many representations to Power
Development Department nothing has been done in that regard. This is
not an mistake of PDD , But the fault on the part of present Govt.,
that the Govt. fails in all fronts because they don’t have effective
policies and plans for the common masses.
After protest demonstration the protester met with Chief Engineer PDD
The Chief Engineer give a patience hearing and assure the protestor
that the problems of resident of Karwal Villager is solve immediately.

                 DVOs themselves have cases pending against them or under investigation By Sunny Sangral   GNS JAMMU, : At a time when Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is making tall claims of fighting corruption in Jammu and Kashmir through State Vigilance Organisation (SVO), there are several Department Vigilance Officers (DVO)s against whom cases of corruption are pending.  This has been relived by a RTI filed by a activist recently.  As per the reply of the state government, M.
