YOUTH CONGRESS APPEALS FOR MAXIMUM YOUTH EMANCIPATION IN BLOOD DONATION.

GNS JAMMU. Coinciding with the 20th death anniversary of Sh. Rajiv Gandhi, Congress stalwart and former Prime Minister of India, Indian Youth Congress is carrying out a series of country-wide blood donation programmes which is all-set to catapult it into the Limca Book Of World Records. And on the same day, J & K Youth Congress is also organizing a massive Blood Donation Camp at Sarwal Hospital, Jammu and another one at District Hospital, Udhampur.
With a view to canvassing and coercing maximum number of youth for blood donation, Pradesh Youth Congress has been making tiring efforts since the past few days. Mr. R. S. Pathania, Sr. Vice President, J & K P.Y.C., has appealed to the youth of J & K for greater participation in the historic Blood Donation Camps at Jammu and Udhampur so as to give a strong message against divisive forces in J & K and further stand behind the ideology and theory of peace propounded by ‘Messenger of Peace’, Sh. Rajiv Gandhiji.
Mr. Pathania further elaborated that a ‘certificate of participation’ on behalf of Pradesh Youth Congress shall be handed over to every ‘donor’ and provision of refreshment and lunch has also been made available for the donors and the visiting people. The Blood Donation Camp shall be formally inaugurated by H’ble Health minister, Sh. Sham Lal Sharma at 09.00 a.m. sharp and it shall continue till 08.00 p.m. in the evening.
