Farooq Abdullah declared to Omer Abdullah as “BOSS” of the state .

SHAFIQ MIR
GNS Rajouri :Former Chief Minister and present union cabinet minister Farooq Abdullah declared his son and chief minister of Jammu Kashmir as “BOSS” of the state . He said this in special reference of Armed Forces Special Powers Act AFSPA saying that he “ Omar” has full authority to take decision on the issue . Yes being a head of the government, the chief minister of each state of India enjoys the status of “boss” with full authority, but here in the case of Omar Abdullah the situation is quite different . I don’t know how Farooq Abdullah used this word for his son despite knowing the fact that the person whom he declares and describes “BOSS” of the state has been moving from pillar to post and visiting the houses and offices of army commanders for the past some months to get their approval for the step he wants to take . Farooq Sahib : “ This is quite against the status of a “boss” to beg before those for the decision who are supposed to work as per his directions in the Indian democratic system. Yes if he is really boss of the state, he must behave like a boss, but the way he has been behaving and acting for the past some months, the claim of Farooq Abdullah that his chief minister son is boss gets negated itself . In the past three years of his tenure as chief minister of the state, there is not a single instance where one can see him as boss of the state. Look at some of the instances, many times in the past, Omar Abdullah could not finalize a single cabinet meeting without the approval of his partners . Even he was not allowed to effect any transfer of an employee at his own . Then how he says that Omar is boss of the state . If really he is boss of the state, then what is the reason of visiting the houses and offices of army commanders to get their approval for revocation of AFSPA in the state?. Not only this, Farooq sahib must be knowing it that during 2010 summer protests, the curfew timing in Srinagar city was decided by union home secratary GK Pilai . Is this not against the status of a boss ?. Farooq sahib : You know it better that for a petty and minor decision, you people have to get prior permission from a secraraty level person at Delhi . We will be very happy if your chief minister son behaves like a boss of the state . We have an example of Gujjraat chief minister Narendra Modi, he never takes centre in confidence regarding the decisions he takes about his state. And despite being member of opposition party and top most controversial person centre could not deny his due and he is top most popular among his electorates . And even his top most critics have appreciated his working . Unfortunately , the chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir have never behaved like a boss of the state and the person whom Farooq sahib has declared boss of the state has crossed all limits of playing like a faithful boy .
