Discovering The Reasons,Conversions In Kashmir

Two months back when the news of conversion of a few Muslim youth to Christianity erupted, the religious scholars and Ulemas of Kashmir have risen to the occasion and their night sleeps have got disturbed. It is said that according to a Christian missionary ploy the ‘making of Kashmir a modal Christian State’ of the world in 21st century is on cards and the work is in vogue. In a public awareness campaign the ulemas of Jamiyate Ulma e Kashmir held a daylong sermon here in Tangmarg in a Masjid in Druroo village on Srinagar Gulmarg highway. In the day long sermon two reputed religious scholars Mufti Abdul Rashid, Gen. Secretary of the organization and Patron of Darul Uloom Bilalalia Srinagar and Mufti Abdul Rahim Al-Hasni, Nazim Tahafuze Khatme Nabuwat district Baramulla deliberated on the grim concern of the issue of Kashmiri youth being inclined towards Christianity. Both the Muftis made significant revelations about the grim concern of ploy under which the Christian missionaries are working in this trouble torn state. Mufti Abdul Rashid in his speech revealed that the Christian missionary agencies have been working in Muslim states and countries with a slow but continuous pace and they have succeeded though partly in many Muslim areas of the world. He warned the Muslims of Kashmir that before deciding the academic future of their kith and kin utmost care has to be taken with regard to school choices for admitting their wards. Because a three year kid can’t decide right or wrong for him at the age of his school admission. The two muftis revealed that Christian missionary works are devised on the basis of long strategies with regard to time and line of action. The duo said that they have sufficient evidences for the tactics these Christians employ for the Muslim children for shifting their taste and tendency towards Christianity, one strategy these muftis revealed is that children are made to line up for a prayer and are asked to close their eyes and ask Allah to send them toffees and chocolates, the same is repeated thrice for asking to prophet and then to Quran. Then again the children are asked to repeat the same procedure but this time they are asked to ask toffees and chocolates from Jesus Christ and under a technical mechanism the toffees and chocolates are showered from on them. In this way these innocent Muslim children are made to believe in Christianity. In yet another strat6egic move these children are taken for tours to outside Kashmir where they are seemingly taken to shrines of Muslims like Mueen ud Din Chasti(RA) in Ajmir but here these children are predisposed to the beggars present at these shrines who unwontedly are un hygienic and do odd things to beg before the pilgrims as such a sense of hatred is injected into these innocent children, then these children are taken to other worship places like churches and their they are predisposed to fair and clean environment and this kind of strategy is applied to imbibe a sense of affinity towards churches and the Christianity thereof. Mufti Abdul Rahim Al-Hasni, Nazim of Tahafuze Khatme Nabuwat district Baramulla in his thought provoking speech revealed that Making Kashmir a model Christian State of the world is already in vogue. According to Mufti Rahim Christians in the last millennium had set their target for Europe and Africa and while they succeeded to a large extent in Europe but they didn’t succeeded in Africa. Then they devised a new strategy for only a century that is 21st century and decided to focus on Asia. In Asia they decided to focus mainly the sub-continent and in sub-continent they decided to focus mainly on Kashmir to make it a Model Christian State. This thing, according to Mufti Rahim, was revived in a meeting held in India when Pop John Paul had visited India some years back and India had treated him as a state guest.
The muftis revealed that Christian missionaries work according to practiced strategies wherein they ignore the elderly people for the reason that elderly people have a developed mind set and are usually to resistant for any belief changes, whereas the youth too cant be motivated directly for conversion but yet these missionaries have a devastation package for such youth that they are predisposed to prostitution, drinking and drug addiction and while indulging them into such practices the youth go far away from their religion- Islam. According to Mufti Rahim Father Khanna has confessed before the Grand Mufti of J&K, Mufti Bashir ud Din Ahmad that in Kashmir many prostitution centers were being run for the purpose.
Mufti Abdul Rahim Al-Hasni said that during their visit to Gulmarg, they intended to provide Islamic literature to hoteliers so that besides enjoying the sceneries of Kashmir, the visitors would be offered the Islamic literature in order to find the truth and the divinely message thereof but they (Muftis) were surprised to see the literature of all other religions including Christianity in Gulmarg hotels.
And the ultimate and utmost target for the main purpose is the children whose minds are very sensitive for the mind setting right from their infancy.
Meanwhile in Kreshama, a Pattan Village the presence of a South Korean man has become nausiatic for the inhabitants. The locals revealed that Kim Suing Bai, a native of South Korea had been residing in the village for last several months with a family and had underwent a business venture of poultry in partnership with the domicile. But when the news of conversion of some Kashmiri Muslim youth in Srinagar spread, a section of locals raised skeptical fingers towards Kim Suing. His presence became/ or was used as a weapon for conflict between the two groups. Although some youth of the village revealed that there was nothing like spreading Christianity by this person directly or indirectly but yet a team from Srinagar belonging to Hurriat Conference (M) visited the village and met the Korean native. The team on the word of return collected Bible and a few dictionaries from him. But now on the insistence of the dwellers Kim has left the place.
Two months back when the religion-conversion news of few youth came to limelight all the religious scholars and ulemas assembled at one place and framed a conglomerate in the name of Muthida Majlise Ulema(The united forum of religious scholars) in order to rise to the occasion and to explore the remedial majors. The conglomerate has decided to keep a close vigil on the scenario, advised State Board of School Education and the Universities Of Kashmir not to keep any exam on Fridays and advised the school administrations to give students time for Nimaz and to restrain from immoral cultural activities. The conglomerate had also announced that they will devise common syllabi for school curricula that will be in line with the moral ethics of the state of J&K. So for there have been some meetings of the conglomerate but whether something practical has been done on the ground is not visible yet.
