PCC asked the district administration to accelerate the relief for affected families


GNS Jammu: Pradesh Congress Committee has asked the district administration to accelerate the relief and rehabilitation measures for the affected families in the fire incident at Kajole Mohalla in Ligri area of Paddar, in district Kishtwar, where four members of a family were burnt alive and another girl also received serious burnt injuries.
In a statement PCC Spokesperson & General Secretary Mr. Ravinder Sharma-MLC today enquired from the district administration about the relief and rehabilitation measures taken so far and he was apprised by the District Development Commissioner Kishtwar that an amount of Rs. 17 lac has been sanctioned for the rehabilitation of affected families besides,  other ex-gratia  relief has also been proposed for them.
The District Development Commissioner has also disclosed that while the ration and other essential commodities have also been supplied and dispatched, the inclement weather is affecting the rehabilitation process. He assured that all sorts of necessary measures for their proper rehabilitation and for adequate relief are being taken by the administration in the case.
