PDP Hold Strong Protest Against State Government


GNS JAMMU ; Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) held a strong protest and demonstration
against State Govt.especially J&K ERA (Economic Reconstruction Agency) 
for discriminating with the residents of Toph Sherkhania and putting them in unnecessary trouble.
Jammu west President Puneet Jamwal and various ward presidents including Rajat gupta
Rasal singh, Mohd.Roof, Zahid, Sohan singh soni, Rajkumar gupta Gurdev singh,
Deepak gupta, Sunny, Ajay bali and a large number of workers assembled at Toph
sher khania. Raising slogans against ERA .They demanded the construction of road as
soon as possible at Toph Sherkhania. Puneet Jamwal alleged that after digging the roads
have became death traps leading to number of accidents, hence putting locals in great
inconvenience.He said that the black topping of the road should be the first priority of the
department because   the public suffering from last 8 months.
He further said that the state govt. is unable to properly utilize Asian development bank
(A.D.B) funds hence leaving the public in agony.
During the protest the ward presidents assembled from different wards of Jammu west
warned that if immediate measures are not taken to repair the damaged Toph Sherkhania
road they will intensify their agitations. They also said that it’s the second time they
are protesting on the same issue and they will continue their protests if their road is not
constructed timely.
The other important persons present on the protest were Raj Kumar Lalotra, , Bharat ,
Mohan chowdhary,Parvez malik,Abisheek ,Sunny,Ashwani , mangat ram, shunty and
others.
