GNS Jammu Feb : On the persuasion of Sh. Ashwani Kohli a PDP Leader, a prominent BJP worker of Jammu East Sh. Sudesh Gupta along with many of his supporters joined PDP in a simple but impressive function in PDP office. While welcoming them Mr. Daman Bhasin said that they should support the PDP candidates in coiming Minicipal Corporation Elections and ensure that large number of PDP candidates are got elected. Mr. Ved Mahajan said that People of Jammu City should be educated about the policies and programmes of the PDP and the PDP is the only party who can come up to the expectations of the people of Jammu City. While thanking the PDP leaders Mr. Sudesh Gupta said that he was impressed by the policies and programmes of PDP and ensured that he and his colleagues leave no stone unturned to get PDP candidates elected in Municipal Corporation Election. Among others Fallail Singh, Surjit Kour, Mohinder Kotwal, Sushila Jamwal, Chatter Singh saini, S Sukhvinder Singh, Imtiyaz Shan, Master Bhagwan Dass, E-Peter, S K Raina, S Narinder Singh Raina, H S Sodhi, Deepak Sharma, Bhanu Partap also participated in the function.
GNS Jammu Feb. 29, : A strange situation which was unfortunately created by an affront by Presiding Officer of J&K Assembly to 4 th Estate has finally been brought to close with media persons ending their protest. Peoples Democratic Party in the wake of this development expresses strong hope that not only will such piquant scenes be avoided. But it should augur well for the relationship of legislature and the media.as the latter ‘s role of public awareness and prevention of abuse in state-functioning cannot be underestimated.
