Jointly press conference of minority Community at Mendhar MLA Mehndhar Lambasting Javed Rana and other members for adopting double standard

full faith in the leadership of Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan, the sitting MLA of Mendhar and took strong exception of the irresponsible utterance of Javed  Rana against Mr Khan. Minority community members said that being a responsible politician Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan has always protected interests of minority community in Mendhar area. They said that at the time of crises, it was only Rafiq Hussain Khan who came for their protection and rescue, while reminding that when tension was high in the region during Amarnath land row, Mr Khan always boost moral of the minority community. We the member of minority community of Mendhar did not tolerate any irresponsible utterance against our MLA and we asked Javed Rana to withdraw his statement against Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan and otheriwse we come on the roads with huge protest against this statement and that the present coalition govt. will be responsoble for them  . They said that involvement of some individuals in Mendhar incident does not mean that entire PDP party or other office bearers were involved in that case.They said that it was an isolated case and entire minority community of Mendhar is with Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan as well as with PDP due to unchallenged secular credentials of Mr Khan Lambasting Javed Rana and other members for adopting double standard, minority community members recounted the incident How Javed Rana along with some goons had tried to encroach a piece of land belonging of one Mahesh Chander Sharma in the year 2005. To encroach that piece of land, Javed Rana tried to give it communal colour and threatened minority community members. The minority community members said that 2005 incident which was masterminded by Javed Rana was still fresh in their mind.Ridiculing Javed Rana for speaking in favour of minority community, they said that Rana who had that time encroached a piece of land belonging to mahesh chander sharma and still F.I.R is pending  in  Police Station Mendhar . They called him not a MLC.but a land grabber of mendhar tehsil. Cautioning Rana against trying to fish in troubled water and making politics over the incident, minority community members said that Javed Rana due to his many misdeeds has already been exposed before the people.   those who wee present on occasion president hindu sanathandharma  satish   Sharma , sarpanch city devindar kumar  tendon , sham lal dutta president hindu minority,

Water mapping survey disappoints state planners

Tahir Mushtaq  GNS JAMMU, Mar 03: The much awaited water mapping survey conducted to find new sources of ground water in Jammu and Kashmir by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has found that most of the water reserves are unsuitable for human consumption. Sources said that the remote sensing technology survey carried out by the government with the help of ISRO has found high level of iron and fluoride contents in the underground sources of water found in the state.  The report says that many of the newly found underground water channels have been found at inaccessible locations, which need sophisticated technology to extract, beyond the range of equipment what the engineers are using in the country at the moment.
