GNS Jammu Feb 25th :- Impressed by policies and programmes of People Democratic Party and on the persuasion of Mr. Puneet Jamwal, Zone President, Jammu West and Mohd Raoof, a senior PDP leader, Jammu many prominent citizens of Jammu West area headed by Shishu Gandotra, Zaffar Khan, Asgar Khan and Ashish Choudhary, etc joined PDP. While welcoming them in the Party fold Mr. Daman Bhasin, Fallail Singh and R K Bali said that with their joining PDP the Party shall be strengthened in Jammu City in general and in Jammu West in Particular. They urged them to whole heartedly support the candidates of PDP in the coming Jammu Municipal Corporation Elections and ensure that large number of Candidates of PDP got elected. On this occasion the newly joined persons ensured that they will do their utmost to strengthen the PDP at the grass root level. On this occasion Thakur Balbir Singh, Daman Bhasin, Thakur Fallail Singh, Dupinder Kour, Ashok Jogi, R K Bali, Daljit Singh Dicky, Ashok Bhat, E-Peter, Mohinder Kotwal, Shamsher Singh, Raj Kumar Lalotra, Rajat Gupta, Nirmal Kishor and Rafiq Choudhary were also present.
GNS Jammu Feb. 29, : A strange situation which was unfortunately created by an affront by Presiding Officer of J&K Assembly to 4 th Estate has finally been brought to close with media persons ending their protest. Peoples Democratic Party in the wake of this development expresses strong hope that not only will such piquant scenes be avoided. But it should augur well for the relationship of legislature and the media.as the latter ‘s role of public awareness and prevention of abuse in state-functioning cannot be underestimated.
