PDP highlights the problems faced by the farming community of J and K State


GNS JAMMU JULY26: People democratic party highlighted the various  problems being faced by the farming community of the state. In press conference Mr. Satpal Singh Singh Charak, State President, PDP Kissan Cell  point out that Due to failure of monsoon in the early months of june and july the j&k state is under severe condition of drought .Only 25% of the Khrif crops can be raised. He demanded that the j&k state as a whole be declared as a drought prone .
He alleged that the irrigation department also failed ti- provide irrigation water a tail ends of the Ranbir canal and Ravi Tawi lift irrigation canals. It  here by demanded that irrigation department be geared up and sincere effort from them be assured.
Mr Charak said that the supply of power is also worst the curtailment is up to 14hrs and the voltage is also very low due to which pump sets are unable to function properly. We also demanded that electricity be supplied regularly for 12hrs at Punjab Partten.
Mr Charak said on the occasion that  We also demanded the scheme of crop insurance be introduced in the j&k State so the Farmers Community be benefited accordingly.
Mr Charak also informed that It is the Misery of the Revenue Department  that Patwaries are not available at their Halqua Patwar. We demanded from the revenue authority  that the headquarter of patwaries which ae already fixed, be directed to present at their Halqua Patwar headquarter to facilities the farmer community and maintain the passbook of revenue record of farmer
Mr Charak said that the times and again claims of availability of fertilizer in the market by agriculture department ,Agro & JAKFED etc. are hallow the thrust of the farmer is such that not a single bag of fertilizer i.e DAP, MOP, available in the market .its highly demanded by the farming community that supply of fertilizer be assured immediately failing which the farmer will come on the road.

PDP emerged a force in Twin border District of Poonch , Rajouri

GNS RAJOURI : The way opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by former JK Chief Minister and erstwhile union home minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayed has been emerging as a force in the border region of Poonch , Rajouri, is really a worrying situation for Congress and National Conference . Govt. to conduct scientific study of the traffic management in J&K

By Tahir Mushtaq (TNI) GNS JAMMU, : With Management of rising vehicles become a nightmare for the administration in the rapidly growing urban centers of Jammu and Kashmir, government has decided to formulate a comprehensive City Transport Policy for scientific management of the vehicles. Sources said that some private consultants are being hired by the Transport Department to do a detailed study of traffic pattern, road use and ways to deal with the jams at peak hours.
