Youth Meeting held at PDP office Jammu .


GNS JAMMU : July 25 : A meeting was conducted by youth wing of Peoples Democratic Party Youth Wing which was attended by all State Secretaries, Distt Presidents, Zonal Presidents, and other Prominent  youth leaders from all Jammu province. Which was organized by Rajinder Manhas, State Vice President. A cumulative decision is taken to participate in party foundation day by the youth leaders Rajinder Manhas State Vice President , Advocate Gurdeep Singh Pandey State Sec retary ,Deepu Chib, Abhijeet Jasrotia ,Sehdev singh ,Jodhsingh Saini,Gopal Lal Sharma,Darminder Singh ,Mahan Singh ,Sanjeev Khajuria ,Parvesh Bali,.
 Mr Rajinder Singh Manhas  spoke on the occasion he extolled them to start working for spreading the message of the party leadership amongst the masses at grass roots level. He urged them to work with dedication & to participate in  the Foundation Day of the party which is organised in Gandhi Nagar Dushara Ground on 1.8.2012 .During the meeting Mr. Manhas strongly criticized the Power Development Department for the unscheduled power cut in the Jammu. He said that frequent power cuts are being imposed in the Jammu Distt due to which the water supply has been also affected .He added that the regular electricity cuts may create lots of problems for the people of state and specially for the youth at large and this is only due to the non accountability and misgovernance of the present Government. He also criticized and maintained that Minister of PHE and PDD has to see weather they are responsible for the mismanagement in their department.
Advocate Gurdeep Singh Pandey State Secretary PDP youth wing while speaking on the occasion strongly urge the youth leadership of the jammu Province to work together so that the foundation day may be celebrated at highest level. He also extolled them to start working for spreading the message of the party leadership amongst the masses at grass roots level. He urged them to work with dedication & ensure to participate in the foundation day programe.He strongly condemn the state government for ignoring the youth of Jammu and Kashmir he said that during the time of Janab Mufti Mohd Sahib every part of state get its equal share in the field of employment ,educational institution, development etc .
While speaking on the occasion Mr Deepu Chib thanks to all to youth leaders who are participated in the meeting and also urge the youth leaders to participate in the foundation day of the party.

6321 kanals of land transferred to CUs for creation of infrastructure: Malik

GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities. He said the process of transferring the remaining land is in progress. The Minister was replying to question of Mr. Yashpal Kundal in the House. The Minister said that the job of land survey and contour mapping has been assigned to Educational Consultants India Limited (EDCIL) after which master plans will be formulated and the construction work taken up. He said at present both the Central Universities are functional in the rental accommodation. Govt. to conduct scientific study of the traffic management in J&K

By Tahir Mushtaq (TNI) GNS JAMMU, : With Management of rising vehicles become a nightmare for the administration in the rapidly growing urban centers of Jammu and Kashmir, government has decided to formulate a comprehensive City Transport Policy for scientific management of the vehicles. Sources said that some private consultants are being hired by the Transport Department to do a detailed study of traffic pattern, road use and ways to deal with the jams at peak hours.
