GNS SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 11: On the instructions of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah, Minister of State for Home, Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani alongwith Director General of Police, Mr. Kuldeep Khoda, IGP Kashmir Mr S M Sahai and Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat today visited Rafiabad and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of the victim killed yesterday in a firing incident. While expressing solidarity with the family members of the victim, the Minister said that no stone shall be left unturned to verify the facts by making proper investigation into the incident for which FIR has been lodged. Meanwhile, GOC, 15 Corps, Lt. General Atta Hasnain also visited the area and expressed deep regrets and apologies for the loss of precious innocent human life describing the firing incident an accident and unfortunate. He also assured Inquiry by Army into the incident. The government also ordered magisterial enquiry into the incident besides investigation into the incident.

PDP condemns the killing of innocent youth in Rafiabad

GNS Srinagar :   Describing it very unfortunate, the killing of Ashiq Hussain a youth from Laiser Rafiabad, PDP president Ms Mehbooba Mufti has said that such tragic incidents not only shatter the faith of people in democratic system but also create a sense of insecurity among them. Expressing sympathies with the family of Ashiq Hussain, Mehbooba said that ordering of inquiries in such unfortunate incidents seems to have become a routine affair without yielding any result for the victims or their families. Gani Vakil condemning the brutal killing

GNS JAMMU : Former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today expressed shock and grief over the brutal killing of youth Ashiq Hussain Rather of Rafiabad in the firing incident and demanded immediate judicial probe in the incident. Condemning the incident Vakil demanded one Government Job and 5 lacs exgratia relief to the family of the deceased. He stressed upon the government to take every step in bringing the culprits to book and punish them heavily so that no one can dare to do such a brutal act in future. 7 selected KAS officers waiting for appointment letters

Tahir Mushtaq    GNS JAMMU : Term it’s a official injustice or discrimination, seven candidates selected in the final list of Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) of 2010-11 batch, are still waiting for the appointment letters.  These hapless candidates are moving from pillar to post for getting joining orders but so far they have not received any reason for the delay on part of the officials.  Sources maintained that Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) had recommended names of 189 candidates to the General Administration Department (GAD).  These candidates qualified the KAS 2010-11 vide order number PSC/Ex-11/109 and were called for Medical Examination.
