Audition team for ‘Ring ka King’ reaches Jammu

                       GNS JAMMU, April 17: Audition team of the famous wrestling television show of Colours “Ring Ka King” under the aegis of Indian Professional Wrestling (IPW) today reached Jammu to take auditions among the Jammuties which will be held on 18th April 2012 at Poly Technique College Vikram Chowk Jammu. PDP condemns brutal use of force on agitating employees

GNS Srinagar, April 17: Strongly condemning brutal use of force on agitating government employees, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today observed that using strong arms method to suppress genuine voice of the people has become a policy of the present regime headed by Omar Abdullah. Party observed that government employees were protesting peacefully for their long pending genuine demands but forced was used against them without any provocation. SHRC directs DGP to file details to proceed for victims compensation

                      Forced labour by Army GNS JAMMU 17,APRIL :While hearing the case of forced labour against Army filed by MLA Langate Engineer Rasheed, the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) today directed the DGP to furnish details to proceesed further for compensation to the affectees. The State Home Department has already asked the DGP to furnish the said details. Army had written to SHRC to provide details regarding the focred labour of civilians of Mawer area of Langate constituency in Kupwara district. During the latest hearing of the case today by the Double Bench headed by Justice (rtd) J A Kawoosa, the SHRC directed the DGP to provide specific instances of individuals with names who were employed as forced labour by Army, details of exact duration for which they were employed and if any wages/ compensation paid in cash or kind for it.
