By Ajmer Alam Wani GNS Rajouri JAMMU : After facing many delays, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has finally completed the survey for constructing four multi-story parking buildings in Jammu city to deal with the parking problem faced by the commuters. Though they were supposed to be constructed about two years back but lack of coordination between Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Jammu Development Authority (JDA) had delayed the project. Officials said that the survey would be submitted to the government in March after which funds would be released for the construction of same in this financial year. These multi storied parking buildings would be established at bus stand, Super Bazzar, Doctors lane and Kachi Chawni. It is pertinent to mention here that city is facing huge problem of parking, as with addition of thousands of vehicles in past 20 years, no major defined places have been established keeping in view the expansion. Surprised, but quite true as even after two years since the change of guard in the state, the company has not bothered to upgrade the website casting doubts over the tall claims of the state government which is investing crores of rupees in e-governance projects. Not only this, as per the list of Board of Directors posted on the website, former Minister of State Industries & Commerce department, Dr. Ramesh Chander Sharma, is shown as vice-chairman, while former chief secretary S S Kapur, who has since long retired from the service, is still as one of the Directors of the PSU . GNS Rajouri ;In a shocking incident ,an elderly woman of about 50years age was allegedly raped by a young man in village Chudhary Nar by her neighbor. Police has arrested the accused and further investigation was in progress . Police sources said , a fifty years old widow of village Chaoudhari Nar was allegedly raped by her neighbor. Though the said lady has reported the matter to police only yesterday , but interestingly she has been found pregnant. Despite registering the rape case police is also looking possibility of mutual consent . Giving details , SHO Police station RajouriDavinderKatoch said that they have registered a case on the complaint of the victim and accused has been arrested . He said on 8th November an elderly woman who is also widow and mother of two approached to police along with other villagers and complained that she was raped by one MohamadIsmayel son of Mohammad Amin of village Choudhari Nar Rajouri .
