‎ Kupwara Bus Stand A Garbage Disposal PIT ''

GNS KUPWARA MAY 29  : The carelessness of municipal committee of Distt. Kupwara is clearly  evident from this pic , the whole garbage is dumped in the midst of this bus stand providing a way to stray dogs and cattle to occupy the major part of this bus stand meant for buses . Just imagine the hygiene of fruits and other food commodities sold by vendors bordering  this site , stray dogs can also prove brutal taking notice of the recent menace of these dangerous creatures in the whole valley . I was hurt to the heart after observing all this while returning home after several months . It is very sad , Why is the Government sleeping ? Or do they deliberately play a role of step-mother towards this district ? All these questions seem to be revolving in the minds of its residents !!

Where’s Kashmir in the new order.ARTICLE

GLOBAL security and the world order are in the process of   being re-jigged.   The 2012 Chicago summit is one reflection and indication of this.  BY YASIN MALIK  America’s and Nato’s scheduled exit from Afghanistan which forms the grist and mill of the Chicago summit is most likely to herald a new global security situation. ‘Taliban’ may be taken on board and negotiated with, a semblance of normalcy and a political solution in accord with American preferences be implemented, Pakistan be dealt with and then an exit made. Overlaying this security situation and condition are the contours of a world order in which unipolarity is gradually giving in to a somewhat ‘loose multipolarity’ wherein the US appears to be viewing the rise of some emerging powers like India favourably and is consequently reviewing its alliance systems. Concomitantly, the European Union is still mired in a structural morass and unable to form and come up with a coherent foreign policy posture
