Azad reached Kargil on his two days tour

GNS  KARGILMAY 29 :  Union Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad  reached Kargil on his two days tour to the border district, along with Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and Minister for  CA&PD and Transport Qamar Ali Akhoon.The  new schemes to attract man-force including Doctors for Far Flung hilly villages in the coming days as shortage of doctors is a national concern, this was stated by the Union Union Health Minister.
On the occasion Union Minister said that to overcome this shortage of Doctors within the next two or three years, the Government has introduced various schemes and through these schemes 75% enhancement of seats for specialists doctors and 30 % enhancement of seats for MBBS Doctors has been made.
He further added that for overcoming the shortage of technical persons for the sophisticated equipments and other problems he will be having a high level meeting with the Chief Minister and others concerned at Srinagar on 6th of June and will be coming with new schemes for J&K.

Mr Azad had a visit to the District Hospital Kargil and inspected the working of the newly constructed Truma Unit, C T Scan Machine and the indoor complex. He also inspected the Genetic Ward and ANMT School Block which are under construction and the Ward of Special Care to Newly Born baby and all these facilities are provided by the Central Flagship Scheme NRHM.
At District Hospital Kargil he also had an interaction with the team of Doctors. Earlier at Kargil Airport he was given a great reception and has been received by the Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, Executive Councilor for Agriculture and Revenue Haji Ghulam Amir Kaamran, MP Ladakh Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan, MLA Zanskar Feroz Ahmad Khan, Leader of Opposition in LAHDC Kargil Haji Asgar Ali Karbalie, Senior Congress leader Haji Hassan Commander, President National Congress Mohd Raza, President National Conference Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan, representatives of Islamia School Kargil and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, District Officers and other prominent citizens.

PCC General Secretary Vinod Sharma met Div. Com. Apprised about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city.

 GNS  Jammu , June 05:  A deputation led by PCC General Secretary Mr. Vinod Sharma met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and apprised him about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city. Mr. Sharma said that there are long cuts in the electric supply in the urban areas of Jammu especially in Jammu East and Jammu West. He said that the children and old aged are falling ill due to long cuts in electric supply during scorching heat. He said that the scheduled fixed by the department for power cuts i.e three hours for metered areas and eight hours for non metered areas stands no were. There are long scheduled and unscheduled power cuts and people are facing great hardships.
