GNS Jammu , April 23:  PCC General Secretary & Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma-MLC has denied that JKPCC Chief Prof. Saifuddin Soz, blamed  National Conference for creating hurdles in empowerment of Panchayats in the state.   Reacting to the news reports appearing in a section of press today, regarding the statement of PCC Chief, during the course of interaction with a delegation of Sarpanchs and Panchs at Rajouri, yesterday. PCC Spokesperson Mr. Ravinder Sharma, who was also present in the said meeting, stated that Prof. Soz had  explained the position of the Congress party viz- a –viz the 73 rd  Amendment of the Constitution  and said that Congress favours its implementation in the state or adoption of its provisions in the state Panchayat Raj Law, wherever required. GNS Jammu, April 23: Former Chairman of Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) Kuljeet Singh Jamwal today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.        GNS C hatroo (Kishtwar), April 23: Expressing concern over non availability of basic amenities to the residents of Kishtwar district, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) demanded that besides giving employment to the locals, free electricity should also be given to the people of erstwhile Doda district because they have first right on the water flowing from their area. Addressing a public meeting at Chatroo in Kishtwar area PDP leader Sartaj Madni pointed out the mega hydro electricity projects are being constructed in this belt but the locals are not getting benefits of such projects.
