Bahu Fort Development Committee Meeting Held

GNS Report :An emergency meeting of Bahu Fort Development Committee was called under the Chairmanship of its President Kr. Rajeev Charak in which a great resentment has been expressed over the wrong and unfit allotment of land outside the Mata Maha Kali shrine and fort of Bahu at Bahu Fort by the wrongdoer authorities of J.D.A (Who are actually only the care – taker and not the owner of the fort and Shrine and its land. The owner of said land and shrine land and shrine and fort is the Infantry/Army who handed over it to Archeology Deptt. For maintenance and archeology Deptt handed over it to J.D.A for caring and protection. But the J.D.A is going to sell it in the hands of the approached people and bureaucrats.
While speaking in the occasion Kr. Rajeev Charak said that the Wrongdoer authorities of J.D.A have already given away the maximum land to Shivam Appu Ghar’’ on lease since years back and its lease period has been expired since two years back and during its lease period the owner of the Shivam Appu Ghar has made illegal constructions and has violated all the guide-lines laid in agreement, but the given authorities, JDA didn’t take any action against him and neither take back the land even after the expire of the lease period.
Kr. Rajeev Charak said that now the said authority i.e. JDA is going to allot the pathway side of Mata Mahakali Shrine and Fort to the highly approached persons and bureaucrats/ High Profile Police Officers on the name of their close relatives. While there isn’t sufficient space or site and parking for the pilgrims & yatries who visit here in lakhs on every Sunday, Tuesday and especially during Navratras.
Kr. Charak said that the wrong-does authorities along with some high profiled police official wants to destroy the beauty and visibility of the Fort as well as Shrine of Shri Mata Mahakali on allotting the front view/ portion of it to their nears and dears. He said that it is a profiled plan to destroy the Heritage and old Monuments of Dogra Rulers which is totally un-bearable.
KR. Charak appealed the Divisional Commissioner , Chairman, Heritage J&K and Hon’ble Home Minister Government of J&K to save and protect the old monuments of Dogra rulers from the brokers / mafia other-wise Bahu Fort Development Committee will come on roads to fights the wrong-does and brokers of the said authority.

PCC General Secretary Vinod Sharma met Div. Com. Apprised about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city.

 GNS  Jammu , June 05:  A deputation led by PCC General Secretary Mr. Vinod Sharma met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and apprised him about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city. Mr. Sharma said that there are long cuts in the electric supply in the urban areas of Jammu especially in Jammu East and Jammu West. He said that the children and old aged are falling ill due to long cuts in electric supply during scorching heat. He said that the scheduled fixed by the department for power cuts i.e three hours for metered areas and eight hours for non metered areas stands no were. There are long scheduled and unscheduled power cuts and people are facing great hardships. Divisional Commissioner Jammu gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that he will look into the matter personally and keep in touch with the concerned authorities for regular supply of electricity. PDP Legislature Party concerns over, prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley

GNS  Jammu, March  07: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed serious concern over the indiscriminate arrest and other coercive measures resorted to by the government in an unsuccessful effort to quell protests in Kashmir.
