SIT Solved 2009 Budhal Murder Case,

Special investigation team (SIT) constituted on the directions of high court has claimed to have solved murder case of one Karnail Singh son of Inder Singh of village Bela Khawaas in Budhal by arresting seven persons including an ex-police man Barkat Hussain for his direct role of destroying all evidences in the murder. The arrested cop was investigating officer in the case two years ago. 
Karnail Singh was found murdered on the road side on September 12, 2009. Besides a village sarpanch Mohd Saleem Khan his brother Sher Khan, three relatives and driver Tilak Raj were also arrested. 
Giving details sources said that after recovery of dead body of Karnail Singh mysteriously from road side. police had registered a case with police station Budhal vide FIR NO 62 dated 12/2009. And one Bader Hussain then posted with police station Budhal as head constable was appointed as inquiry officer of the case. As per the relatives of the deceased Karnail Singh, I O of the case Bader Hussain received huge money from the accused party and destroyed all evidences related to the murder. 
However, after two years, the relatives of Karnail Singh approached to high court got orders issued from the court for reinvestigation of the case by a special investigation team headed by a credible officer. On court directions, SSP Rajouri Vijay Singh Samyaal constituted four members special investigation team headed by Dy SP operations Rajouri Ayaz Ahmed. The team re opened the case and arrested four persons earlier this month. However, the biggest development took place when police took the custody of the former IO of the case accusing him of destroying all related evidences of the case. Then investigating officer Bader Hussain was taken in to custody only few days ago. 
Further sources said that Karnail Singh was working on the ration depot of Sarpanch Mohd Saleem and also residing there. During this period he developed illegal relations with a woman of Sarpanch family. This irked Sarpanch and along with his brothers hatched a plan to end Karnail Singh. He recall Karnail Singh at his residence on September 11 for some work and killed him. Later his body was thrown on the road side. 
However, political lobbying has also begun in this case and National Conference has taken lead in siding with ex police cop. In this connection, a strong deputation of relatives of accused police cop Bader Hussain met with senior police officers under the leadership of senior NC leader Shafqat Mir and pleaded his innocence before the senior police officers. Shafqat Mir while pleading his case said that relatives of the accused Bader Hussain have some reservations with the SIT and the officer heading panel.

PCC General Secretary Vinod Sharma met Div. Com. Apprised about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city.

 GNS  Jammu , June 05:  A deputation led by PCC General Secretary Mr. Vinod Sharma met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and apprised him about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city. Mr. Sharma said that there are long cuts in the electric supply in the urban areas of Jammu especially in Jammu East and Jammu West. He said that the children and old aged are falling ill due to long cuts in electric supply during scorching heat. He said that the scheduled fixed by the department for power cuts i.e three hours for metered areas and eight hours for non metered areas stands no were. PDP Legislature Party concerns over, prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley
