PDP symbolizes false hood: Sagar

GNS JAMMU, FEB 27: Ridiculing PDP for unleashing a malicious false campaign against National Conference leadership, Minister for Rural Development, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar today said PDP has been un nerved by the popularity and success of coalition government and the party now tries in vain to undo the landmark achievements registered during the last three years both on development and political fronts.

Reacting to the allegations of PDP President, Ms Mehbooba Mufti leveled against the coalition government, Mr. Sagar said legislative history is testimony to the fact that PDP is habitual of leveling allegations and later on tenders apologies publically. In this connection, he referred to the allegations leveled by Muzafar Hussain Baigh against Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather, Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat against Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and later on both apologized publically.
He said Mehbooba Mufti once during Assembly session leveled allegations against Sher-i-Kashmir about Indus Water Treaty but was corrected by her father, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed that Sheikh Sahib was in jail when the treaty was signed. Similarly, without having any substance, baseless allegations were leveled against one of most honest and upright leader of the National Conference, Khawaja Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Shah which were proved false. Also this party leveled allegations against Ajay Sadotra and S. S. Slathia which were proved false. He said coalition government has made the State Accountability Commission functional with a view to checking corruption from top to bottom adding that instead of leveling baseless allegation against NC leadership, PDP ought to have gone to SAC. Since they know that planted stories in some news papers will not stand the test of time as such they are indulged in false propaganda.
Mr. Sagar said PDP faces acute inferiority complex on seeing popularity graph of NC and performance of the coalition government. He said PDP was provided ample opportunity to express their views in the Assembly but they did not make any solid point instead went on leveling wild allegation and carrying on false propaganda.
“They are trying in vain to create wedge between the coalition partners”, he said adding that PDP would never succeed in their sinister game plan. He said PDP is setting political scores at the cost of honour and integrity of the senior and respectable leaders of coalition government.
