PDP HOLD MEET



GNS JAMMU AUG. 07 :A meeting of men and women was held in Lower Barnai Netar Kothian under the Presidentship of Anju Bhan President incharge women wing minority cell of PDP. Large number of men and women of the area participated in the meeting. On the occasion Anju Bhan discussed various issues concerning the Kashmir migrant during last 4 years which had worsened due to economic reasons and also stressed upon the men and women to unite and strength the hands of patron of PDP Janab Mufti Mohd Syeed and President of PDP Madam Mehbooba Mufti who can come up to the expectation of the people.
Anju Bhan said that PDP is the only party in J&K which can solve the problems of the people of the state and Bhan urges people to participate in August 12 the foundation day of PDP at Dussehra Ground Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. at 10.30 AM.
Prominent other who attend the meeting were Dr. Ramzan Sahib, Senior Leader PDP, Prabhakar Singh Sarpanch Kot Bhalwal , Jagdish Raj Sarpanch Ghari Purkhoo, Rajinder Singh (Kaka), Govind Singh (Bittu), Ashok Kumar Antal, Sushil Bhan ,Nisha Bhan, Sunita Bhan, Shivani, Asha Devi,Roma Devi, Birbal, Yashpal and Balbir.

Water mapping survey disappoints state planners

Tahir Mushtaq  GNS JAMMU, Mar 03: The much awaited water mapping survey conducted to find new sources of ground water in Jammu and Kashmir by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has found that most of the water reserves are unsuitable for human consumption. Sources said that the remote sensing technology survey carried out by the government with the help of ISRO has found high level of iron and fluoride contents in the underground sources of water found in the state.  The report says that many of the newly found underground water channels have been found at inaccessible locations, which need sophisticated technology to extract, beyond the range of equipment what the engineers are using in the country at the moment.
