GNS RAJOURI ; In a press statement Nadeem khan state general sec pdp youth saidthat the roads of district poonch are not safe for proper running of vechicles and the conditions are worst ,the peoples of district suffering lot but ears of district poonch of pwd officers are dum they are not paid heed to the grievances of suffers and the peoples of Mendhar tehsil are also protested in this regard many times against pwd department and alleges that they were involved himself in those works where they have personal benefits and departmend of pwd of district poonch are gripped in the net of corruption,the villagers said .Nadeem khan said that roads which are under pwd are totally damaged and work done on these roads like surankote mendhar ,the running road and all links roads of mendhar damaged ,these are full of pits and are not safeable for driving.He urged that coliation govt should open hiseyes and asked the authorities that immediate action should be takenfor early completion of damdged and blacktopping of roads for the interest of suffers . state gegreal sec.PDP youth said that mobile networks of district poonch are not properly working ,mostly times system remained busy and BSNL network system in the district are poor in far flung area of this district due less number of mobile towers in the rural areas of villages .he said that govt take postive steps in this regard so that heavy burden on the network system be become less.

Water mapping survey disappoints state planners

Tahir Mushtaq  GNS JAMMU, Mar 03: The much awaited water mapping survey conducted to find new sources of ground water in Jammu and Kashmir by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has found that most of the water reserves are unsuitable for human consumption. Sources said that the remote sensing technology survey carried out by the government with the help of ISRO has found high level of iron and fluoride contents in the underground sources of water found in the state.  The report says that many of the newly found underground water channels have been found at inaccessible locations, which need sophisticated technology to extract, beyond the range of equipment what the engineers are using in the country at the moment.
