PDP Called To Demonstrate on 15th November

GNS Jammu 13th November, : Meetings of PDP workers were held at Gole Gujral, Bhagwati Nagar and Nanak Nagar on the initiative of S. Jagjit Singh Jagga, State Secretary PDP and S Davinder Singh, Zone Secretary, Gandhinagar . Addressing a series of meetings the PDP leaders said the present coalition Government led by Umar Abdullah has failed on all fronts. The tall and false promises made by the National Conference at the time of last Assembly elections have fallen flat The Corruption and nepotism is on rampant and the cost of daily use essential goods are beyond the reach of common man. No steps are being taken to contain the prices of the essential goods and the common man is suffering badly due to the same. The developmental works have been stand still due to the wrong policies of the present Government. The educated youth are the worst sufferer of the present Government as this Government has not been able to form any policy to absorb the unemployed educated youth. They further said that the present Government has indulged into deceptive tactics to befool the innocent people and their problems are not been addressed by the present regime. Even ration is not being made available to the common man in far flung areas and their problems are being aggravated by the present Government and human rights are violated .During meetings Shri R.K.Bali, District President, Jammu Urban and S. Jagjit Singh Jagga, State Secretary assured the senior leaders present in the meetings that the workers and people of their areas will come in large numbers and make the function of Demonstration on 15th instant a great success and will show their full solidarity with People Democratic Party. The meetings were attended by S. Tarlok singh Bajwa, Thakur Balbir Singh, Shanti Devi, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Fallail Singh, Rajinder Singh Manhas, Daljit Singh Dicky, Ashok Jogi, s.Narinder singh Raina. PDP emerged a force in Twin border District of Poonch , Rajouri

GNS RAJOURI : The way opposition People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by former JK Chief Minister and erstwhile union home minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayed has been emerging as a force in the border region of Poonch , Rajouri, is really a worrying situation for Congress and National Conference . It would be much better to say that the situation if more threatening for NC as compared to Congress as the region has always been strong belt of the former for decades . 6321 kanals of land transferred to CUs for creation of infrastructure: Malik

GNS JAMMU MAR,01 :Minister for Higher Education, Mr. Abdul Gani Malik today informed the Legislative Assembly that about 4641 kanals and 4325 kanals of land has been indentified for the establishment of the Central Universities at Jammu and Kashmir respectively, out of which 3000 kanals and 3321 kanals stands transferred to these Universities. He said the process of transferring the remaining land is in progress. The Minister was replying to question of Mr. Yashpal Kundal in the House. The Minister said that the job of land survey and contour mapping has been assigned to Educational Consultants India Limited (EDCIL) after which master plans will be formulated and the construction work taken up.
