Legalizing corruption in only noticeable achievement of this government


       NC led regime has probed as
        non performing liability: PDP

GNS Jammu, ; Lambasting coalition regime led by National Conference for its failure to accelerate developmental activities in the State,  Peoples  Democratic Party (PDP) today said the this regime has become non performing liability on the people because since its formation this dispensation has been befooling the people through its deceiving tactics. Addressing a public meeting at Nagrota, PDP leaders said that three years performance of this regime was total zero and all promises of this government remained only on papers. They said that regime has exposed before the masses and there was no taker of the hallow slogans of this dispensation. They regretted that instead of addressing basic problems of the people, this government has been indulged into deceptive tactics to befool the commoners. Pointing towards rampant corruption in the State, they said that instead of taking some effective steps to control corruption in the administration this regime has legalized the corruption through its actions. “Institutions meant for curbing corruption have been deliberately make defunct by this regime”, they said and added that during the last three years this regime has only legalized corruption through its misdeeds and actions. While listing the promises made by the ruling National Conference with the people during the last Assembly elections, they said  and added that NC led government has reneged on almost all the promises and commitments Ridiculing claims made by state government on the completion of its three year tenure, they said that government has even failed to prove basic amenities to the people. They pointed out that Nagrota assembly segment, located just adjoining the Jammu city, lacks basic amenities like drinking water and roads which negates all claims of the government.  .
PDP leaders lambasted the State Government for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses. They said that miseries of the people have been increased manifold after formation of this regime which was formed with out any programme and policy. While pointing towards mounting problems of the common masses, they said that government has even failed to provide ration to the people. They further termed the present dispensation as one of the most corrupt and anti-people regime of the State.
Senior leader of PDP Ved Mahajan, MLA Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar, Hussain Ali Wafa, Rashid Malik, district president Jammu rural Thakur Suram Singh and other senior leaders addressed the meeting.

PCC General Secretary Vinod Sharma met Div. Com. Apprised about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city.

 GNS  Jammu , June 05:  A deputation led by PCC General Secretary Mr. Vinod Sharma met the Divisional Commissioner Jammu and apprised him about the problem of electric supply in Jammu city. Mr. Sharma said that there are long cuts in the electric supply in the urban areas of Jammu especially in Jammu East and Jammu West. He said that the children and old aged are falling ill due to long cuts in electric supply during scorching heat. He said that the scheduled fixed by the department for power cuts i.e three hours for metered areas and eight hours for non metered areas stands no were. There are long scheduled and unscheduled power cuts and people are facing great hardships. Divisional Commissioner Jammu gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that he will look into the matter personally and keep in touch with the concerned authorities for regular supply of electricity. PDP Legislature Party concerns over, prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley
